Chairman Natan Sharansky of the Jewish Agency said Sunday that the main challenge facing the agency today is the strengthening and deepening of Jewish identity in Israel and around the world.
Kicking off the agency's Board of Governor's meeting in Jerusalem, Sharansky said, "This strategic mission will provide a response to the other challenges we face, starting with encouraging aliyah [immigration] to Israel to fighting the new anti-Semitism."
