      Air Force to Get New Pilotless Plane on Friday


      The Air Force is scheduled to receive its first Eitan pilotless aircraft on Friday, according to Kol Yisrael government radio. Developed by the Israel Military Industries, according to Air Force specifications, the Eitan can stay airborn for 24 hours and fly hundreds of kilograms of advanced equipment on a range of thousands of kilometers.

      The first squadron is expected to be completed by the middle of next year.
