Reserve General Amos Gilad, Director of Policy and Political-Military Affairs at the Israel Ministry of Defense, said Tuesday at the Jerusalem Conference that 2010 would be "the year of decision" regarding Iran. Speaking at the conference on a panel dealing with the Iranian threat, Gilad said that 2010 "would be a test of the international community's ability to overcome its differences on how to face the challenge of Iran."
He said that Arab world was united in its opposition to Iran, and "I am glad that Israel is taking the Iranian issue very seriously."
