Tzahi Hanegbi, head of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said Thursday that imposing further sanctions on Iran was not the only option in stopping Tehran's nuclear program. Hanegbi added that there was no difference between the coalition and opposition in the realization of the need for action against Iran.
Hanegbi said that the United States was determined to propose major new sanctions against Iran within the coming weeks. Hanegbi made the statements on a visit to Washington, where an Israeli delegation was meeting with top U.S. officials.
