IDF Chief of Staff - Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi visited on Wednesday the district headquarters of the Home Front Command of the Dan Region to watch an exercise.
During the visit he said that "the situation now is calm but fragile. The aim is to exercise regularly to improve military readiness in all arenas, including the home front. We must deal with the changing nature of war, a change that gave rise to the threat on the home front and made it the scene of operations."
