Israeli Defense Forces carried out an air strike against terrorists overnight in Gaza. The IDF briefly confirmed it responded to the recent rocket fire into Israel, but did not elaborate. There were no casualties.

According to Gaza sources, the old airport south of Rafiah was hit by three IDF missiles. The Yasser Arafat International Airport operated from 1998 to 2001.

On Monday of this week, Hamas terrorists shot rockets into the Shaar HaNegev region of Israel, which landed in a kibbutz grazing pasture causing no damage. A day before a rocket was shot into the Eshkol region near Sderot, causing no damage.
