The Tel Aviv Municipality on Tuesday authorized the establishment of some 150 bicycle rental stations. Each station will have 20 bicycles available, with the city providing over 3,000 bicycles to renters. Bicycles will be available to residents and non-residents alike. Renters will be able to pick up a bicycle and use it for commuting or exercise, and drop it off at a station near their destination. Similar systems have been successfully used in many cities in Europe for years.
