Speaking in an interview with Arutz 7, MK Danny Danon (Likud) said that despite Kadima's decision to oppose a proposal to investigate the New Israel Fund, "we cannot turn the wheel back," and that a parliamentary investigation should be conducted. "We managed to bring to the attention of the public what has been going on in the Fund, and we established a Knesset subcommittee that is attempting to understand why the Fund gives money to the enemies of Israel," Danon said.

Despite opposition by Kadima and Labor, a parliamentary investigative panel will be established at some point, Danon said.
