The security officer of Har Bracha in Samaria was detained by police Tuesday night, after a shot was allegedly fired that injured an 18 year old Arab youth. The Samaria Residents' Council issued a statement criticizing police, saying that they "are damaging the safety of residents in its organized efforts against those responsible for security throughout Yesha."

Earlier Tuesday evening, a group of Arabs from a village south of Shechem attacked a group of Christian volunteers who were working in Har Bracha, helping residents work their farms. Five volunteers were hurt. The security coordinator in Har Bracha fired into the air to scare off the rioters.
