IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi is set to present special performance awards to the Sayeret Matcal and Sayeret 13 army units, a report on Channel 10 said Tuesday. The award is to be given to the two units because of the inordinate number of operations in which they have been involved over the past several months. Ashkenazi has appointed an official to examine the operations and determine for which operations the units should be honored.
