Thousands of Iranians massed on the embassies of Italy and France Tuesday night, throwing rocks and eggs, in response to calls by Italian leader Silvio Berlusconi and French leader Nicholas Sarkozy against Iran's uranium enrichment program. Protesters are demonstrating against "the west's interference in the internal affairs of Iran," protesters said. Earlier Tuesday, Iran announced it had begun enriching uranium for the fueling of a "medical nuclear plant."
