In a statement Tuesday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that he was definitively opposed to allowing Israelis living abroad to vote in national elections. Speaking at the Defense Ministry Tuesday, Barak said that "given the situation in Israel, only those who are living here and shouldering the burden of danger should be able to make such decisions."
