After considerable public protest, a plan to fly Knesset members headed abroad in business class has been suspended. Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin has asked the Knesset Ethics Committee, headed by MK Shelly Yechimovich (Labor), along with the Knesset Committee, headed by MK Yariv Levin (Likud), to weigh the issue and present conclusions.

Rivlin decided to freeze the program after a meeting with Mks and the Knesset legal advisor, Dan Landau.
