Speaking earlier Tuesday on a tour of the Shimon Hatzaddik neighborhood in Jerusalem with the Knesset Interior Committee, MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) said that the riots conducted by leftists and Arabs in the area against Jewish residents were "a challenge to the state's sovereignty over parts of Jerusalem, and we must deal with it as required.

"The time has come for quiet to be restored to the streets of the this neighborhood. We must take the necessary steps to ensure that residents do not suffer from the riots, and that the anti-Semitic elements from Europe that pay for this activity are stopped totally," MK Ben-Ari said.
