The third annual "From Idea to Brand Name" competition at the Rothberg School in Ramat Hasharon, northeast of Tel Aviv, has produced a series of discoveries developed by students specializing in biotechnology.
They include "SmellStamp", a disposable sticker which prevents foot odors and athlete's foot; an ice cream with a lactase enzyme that allows people who are sensitive to milk to enjoy it; and a lollipop that can replace a toothbrush. The winner was Total Aid, a bandage which will stick to any surface, wet or dry.
