Deputy Knesset Speaker Majalli Whbee said Monday that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman "seek to exploit democracy to change the demographics" of Israel. He was responding to Netanyahu's announcement that he would work to give voting rights to Israelis living abroad.
The Kadima lawmaker added, "There's no reason that someone who does not live in Israel and is [not] affected by the decisions of the Knesset and the government should be able to vote in elections, other than the desire of Netanyahu and Lieberman to preserve their government."
