The Human Rights in Yesha organization says they are opposed to the bill submitted by Kadima MK Aryeh Bibi pardoning policemen convicted of committing violent acts during the expulsions from Gaza. The organization argues that the legal discrimination was against the protesters not the police.

“Not only was there not any discrimination against the police but just the opposite, many violent policemen were never brought to justice while protesters were often prosecuted for trivial offenses,”  said the organization.
