Iranian leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamini, said on Sunday evening that the destruction of  Israel was close and that people should continue the sturggle against it.

The ayatollah told Islamic Jihad leader Abdallah Ramdan Shalach, "I am very optimistic about the future of Palestine and I feel Israel is moving on the steep slope to destruction."
