The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that the Knesset will be asked to give Channel 2 television and the Movement for Freedom of Information security tapes which apparently document Absorption Minister Sofa Landwer and former Knesset member Yechiel Hazan committing ethical and criminal offenses.

The Knesset had appealed a lower court ruling to provide the tapes, claiming that their use raised a serious concern about invasion of privacy. The parliament also said their use was not related to the camera's intended function of security and public order.
