Arab affairs expert Eyal Zisser said Thursday that tension between Israel and Syria in recent days is likely to fade soon.
Interviewed by Israel National News TV, he said neither country wants a war at this time. He noted that for the past 36 years, the border with Syria has been very peaceful, due to deterrence and not because of any peace agreement.
