Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz said Thursday that he was adopting recommendations by the Airports Authority, and has authorized El Al to fly a regular route to Eilat. El Al thus joins Arkia and Israir in flying to Eilat. El Al can run up to three round trip flights between Ben Gurion Airport and Eilat daily, with no more than 430 passengers flying in each direction.
