France's main Jewish organization, CRIF, said that there had been a 75% rise in anti-Semitic incidents in the country over the past year, since the conclusion of Operation Cast Lead. During 2009, the group said, there were 832 anti-Jewish incidents in France, as compared to 407 a year earlier.

Incidents included graffiti praising Nazism and Hitler, anti-Israel graffiti, vandalism against Jewish cemeteries and synagogues, and violence against Jews, the group said.
