The Task Force for the Release of Gilad Shalit will demonstrate Tuesday at various crossings into Gaza and attempt to stop the delivery of fuels to the Hamas-controlled area. The action is the group's way of reminding the public that the fuel "lubricates" the Hamas government, which was joined by other terror groups in abducting the Israeli soldier in a murderous raid on the Kerem Shalom army base on June 25, 2006.
The protesters reject the claim that the fuel is needed for humanitarian reasons. They say a lack of fuel could have prompted Gaza residents to put pressure on their leaders to advance Shalit's release.
