Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau said Monday that "wild imagination" on the part of Hamas was all that linked the January 20th death of senior terrorist commander Mahmoud Al-Mabchouch in Abu-Dabi to his visit there. In his first interview since returning from the visit, Dr. Landau told Arutz Sheva that bodyguards from the United Arab Emirates were with members of his delegation all the time they were there. He also chalked up Hamas allegations of Israeli involvement to Abu-Dabi's turn to the West.
The minister said it was an important trip as a gathering of a new organization seeking to advance research and development of everything related to renewable energy. He added that even if Israel is not initiating steps because of its small size, it is important to be present for the first step, which will have a decisive financial impact in time.
