The Haifa District Court approved, on Sunday afternoon, the sale of the financially-troubled Mulitan textile group to industrialist Tzvi Meir for nine million shekels. Sealing the deal was a two-million-shekel loan from the Histadrut labor federation's fund for troubled factories.
Last week the Mulitan receiver asked the court to close the factory and break up the company due to gaps between him and Meir, the operator of Ofertex.
