Qadaffi Loses Spot as OAU Head

Muammar Qaddafi has lost his spot as head of the Organization for African Unity. Members of the OAU have chosen the head of the African state of Malawi as the group's head. Qadaffi was elected to the post a year ago, despite strong criticism from his opponents.
