Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon visited the Gush Katif Museum in Jerusalem on Thursday. The deputy prime minister did not receive the usual extension of his term as Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff because of his professional opposition to the removal of Jews from Gush Katif and other parts of Gaza and northern Samaria in the government's Disengagement of 2005.
Part of the museum is an exhibit of protests against the expulsion. They include a sign that quotes Ya'alon as saying, "The Disengagement will give a tailwind to terrorism."
