Two Iranian Protesters Hanged

Two Iranians who were convicted of trying to overthrow the government in Tehran were hanged Thursday. The two were part of mass protests during the country's disputed presidential election last June, a government controlled Iranian news agency said. They were the first to be sentenced to death for their role in the protests. Nine others have been sentenced to death.
