High Court: Enforcement on Illegal Building in 2 Months

The Supreme Court on Monday gave authorities two months to develop procedures for enforcing building laws east of the separation fence in Jerusalem. The order was made in response to a petition by Land of Israel activist Aryeh King, who is fighting illegal Arab construction in the area.

Under Sunday's order, when the procedures are in place, the petition will be withdrawn. During the course of Monday's hearing, it was noted that it has been three years since procedures were sought on the other side of the fence.
