Industry, Commerce and Employment Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer proposed on Monday that the management of the Col-Yachol (Can Do Anything) telephone call center, which is staffed by disabled people, open a branch in northern Israel. The minister made the proposal after a tour of the Rishon Letzion facility, accompanied by Rishon Letzion Mayor Dov Tzur and senior officials of the ministry.
The two-year-old company employs about 150 physicly and developmentally disabled people in a wide range of jobs related to communications. Minister Ben-Eliezer cited the company for enabling its staff to be productive.
