The Ein Bokek Highway leading to the hotel strip that lines the southern coast of the Dead Sea has been closed due to flooding from the heavy rains over the past 24 hours.

One bridge collapsed and several other major highways throughout the country were closed as well. Nearly four inches of rain fell in Gush Etzion, and at least two inches fell in the southern Hevron Hills. More than three inches of rain fell in Jerusalem.
