MK Danny Danon (Likud) asked Knesset Committee head MK Yariv Levin to prevent MK Mohammed Barakeh from participating in the Knesset delegation to Poland on International Holocaust Day at the end of January. MK Danon said that "Barakeh, time after time, has spoken out against the state, the army, and the institutions of the country.
"He cannot represent Israel as part of an official delegation, especially at a ceremony with such special meaning for the Jewish people, which more than anything expresses the meaning of the State of Israel to the Jewish people," Danon said.
