The U.S. Army will bring the value of emergency military equipment stored in Israel to $800 million - double what it has been until now -  in an agreement reached last month between the US and Israel.

The stockpiling began in 1990, when the US decided to put weapons in areas the US army might need them. As part of the agreement, Israel will be allowed to use the ordance in case of military emergency.

Gear includes missiles, armored vehicles, aerial ammunition and artillery ordnance.
