Relatively seasonal weather will return to Israel the next two days, but mounts of rainfall well only be a literal drop in the bucket compared with the huge shortfall in the country’s water reserves.
Temperatures will drop sharply on Monday and continue to fall on Tuesday, followed by occasional light rain over the northern and central regions until Wednesday. However, warm and dry weather is expected by the Sabbath, when temperatures once again will climb to springtime levels.
The forecast temperature range for Monday is 19/11 C (66/52 F) in Jerusalem and the hills of Judea and Samaria, 22/13 C (72/55 F) in Tel Aviv and 24/12 C (75/54 F) in Be’er Sheva.
