Two until now "mystery planets" - at least for Hebrew speakers – now have names. In an internet poll conducted by the Academy for Hebrew Language, the planets Neptune and Uranus will now be known in Hebrew as "Rahav" and "Oron," respectively.

The name Rahav is based on a passage in the book of Job, which refers to the "angel of the sea," chosen by visitors to the Academy's website because of Neptune's reputation as a watery world. Oron means "small light," due to its dim light, difficult to detect even with a telescope.
