MK Uri Ariel (National Union) today turned to the Finance Minister, demanding to take immediate action against Dexia Israel Bank which announced to Judea and Samaria local authorities that it will end its contact with them.
Ariel wrote in a letter to the minister, "according to press reports, Dexia Israel Bank, which provides loans to local authorities in collaboration with the Treasury, announced to Judea and Samaria local authorities that it will end its contact with them. Assuming this is true, and there is discrimination against authorities in Judea and Samaria, as compared with other authorities in the country, I demand to act immediately to revoke the license of Dexia Israel Bank in Israel and the agreement signed with it to provide credit to local authorities in Israel."
