The High Court has ordered the Israel Prisons Service to explain why arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti continued to have access to the media and to grant interviews from prison.

The Service was ordered to respond within four days to a petition by MK Michael Ben Ari (National Union) and rightwing activist Itamar Ben-Gvir demanding that Barghouti, serving five life sentences for his role in the murder of over 30 Jews, be prevented from granting interviews.
