Highway 40 has been closed between Nafcha and Mitzpeh Rimon in southwestern Israel, due to flooding. In addition, the section of the highway between Mitzpeh Rimon and Machtesh has been disrupted by a mudslide.
Highway 90 near the Dead Sea hotels has been disrupted by rocks and debris swept onto the highway by flash flooding. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area if they can.
