It will be significantly cooler Tuesday with scattered showers forecast for most of the country, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and local flooding in the wadis of the Negev, Dead Sea and Arava areas. The rain will taper off in the afternoon. There is a high-wave warning at Mediterranean beaches. Clear and slightly warmer weather is forecast for Wednesday with cooler than usual temperatures at night. The slight warming trend is expected to continue through Friday.
