Sources at the Auschwitz museum said Monday evening that three parts of the "Arbeit Macht Frei" (Work Liberates) sign that were returned after being stolen last week will be put together and returned to their place above the entrance to the death-camp only after the security system at the site is improved to prevent a recurrence of the theft.
Museum spokesman Jaroslaw Mansfelt promised that the future security system would be better.
