A service in memory of Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane and his wife Talia is scheduled for Tuesday evening at 7:30 in the Samarian Jewish community of Tapuach. The Kahanes were shot to death by terrorists on the morning of December 31, 2001, corresponding to the 5th of Tevet on the Jewish calendar, as they drove near the Jewish community of Ofra. Talia's younger sister and husband are raising the Kahane's six children - five of whom were injured in the attack - in Kfar Tapuach.
Taking part in the memorial will be National Union Member of Knesset Michael Ben-Ari, a disciple of Kahane's assassinated father, Rabbi Meir Kahane.
