The Be'er Hana organization has succeeded in cancelling a temporary restraining order by the Reform movement against the organization's synagogue in the Ramat Poleg neighborhood of Netanya and with it, a freeze on synagogue construction across the city that has been in effect since March.
Attorney Nisan Sharifi appealed the freeze a few weeks ago, claiming he was hurt by being prevented from establishing a synagogue named after his mother. In his petition, Dr Sharifi claimed the restraining order was drastic and out of proportion, and that it was appropriate to seek alternatives to the order.
