The Samarian Jewish outpost community of Havat Gilad (Gilad's Farm) put out an appeal for financial help Monday night, after it ran out of diesel fuel to run the community's power supply ran out and the distributor refused to supply more without a credit arrangement, leaving the community in darkness.

The 23 families and approximately 20 singles who live there have put out a call for assistance, after all official sources, including the Samaria Regional Council, were prohibited from providing any sort of support.
