Yaakov Sharvit, a farmer from the Samarian town of Shiloh, was attacked on Wednesday by Arabs led by Eric Ascherman of the “Rabbis for Human Rights” organization. Sharvit, who was trying to prevent his plants from being uprooted by the assailants, was evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital and one Arab has been detained by security forces. Ascherman, who reportedly instigated the conflict, was not arrested.
