Thousands of Jews will participate in Wednesday night’s Sivuv She’arim march around the gates of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount in honor of Rosh Chodesh, which will inaugurate the Hebrew month of Tevet. The Sivuv She’arim march has been a monthly tradition for eight years and is seen as a grassroots expression of determination to keep Jerusalem united and free from foreign rule.
