Balad Chairman MK Jamal Zahalka said Monday that Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, Should be prosecuted for calling the Muslim religion "ugly".
"Rabbi Ovadia Yosef is known for his racism, and there are many who see his statements as sacred. I call to prosecute Rabbi Yosef for incitement to racism. He is not a regular rabbi, he is considered the most important religious authority in Israel and has a party with 11 seats."
