Government Ministers confirmed by a telephone vote on Sunday night a plan to allocate sixty-five million shekels to fund free dental care for children. The process was initiated by Deputy Minister of Health, Yaakov Litzman, who has sought to change the National Health Act to include some dental treatments.

The free dental care will come at the expense of the pharmaceuticals budget.
