Six Israelis entered cities controlled by the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority over the Sabbath. Five supposedly wandered into the Judean city of Jericho and were apprehended by Fatah security forces allegedly carrying an illegal substance.

Another Israeli was caught entering the Samarian city of Qalqiliya. Both cities are exclusively populated by local Arabs.

All six Israelis were unharmed and returned to Israeli authorities by Fatah and transferred to the Civil Administration for questioning.
