Jordan: King Appoints Advisor as Prime Minister

Jordan's King Abdullah appointed his advisor, Samir al-Rifaat, as Prime Minister, and gave him the task of forming a new government.



An official said that Abdullah hoped that the new government will help in the implementation of economic reforms before the elections to be held next year.
