Captain Erez Efrati, security guard to the IDF Chief of Staff, was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of attempted rape. The Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday has extended his remand by five days and has lifted the ban on the defendant’s anonymity, permitting his identity to be revealed to the public.
